About Us and "What Makes Us Different?"

Our goal is to convey to our Website Visitors, the customer who does business with us, the recipient of our floral designs, that  our company philosophy is inspired by The Gardens of Venus.  Not just flowers, but flowers with additional special touches to them.  We provide gold boxes instead of the plain white floral boxes to distinguish our company from the rest.  We want ALL our customers to feel pampered and bask in luxury.  Our motto is "Luxurious Flowers For The Goddess In Your Life", and we are not just saying this... our bouquets and floral arrangements say it (quietly) with every order.  

When you walk into Venus's Garden, you get an idea of a lovely huge archway... the entrance to her enchanting garden.  One would see columns of white and gold, the pathway would be of patterned brick and slate design, there would be large mazes of bushes and sculptured bushes and beautiful foliages, cascading vines, fountains with water and plush plump flowers flowing delicately over the sides.  Venus would have lovely statues in her garden.  Those flowers which stand by themselves displaying their own beauty, and those that serve as containers are also lovely, as containers for her other carefully selected flowers.  We want our clients (givers and receivers of our floral arrangements)  to feel like these floral arrangements are created especially for them, with all the luxuries and lavish trimmings. This can only be achieved by listening to your requests and your cares and concerns.  Add to that, the company The Gardens of Venus - your Syracuse New York Florist, is run by Certified Floral Designers, with many years of experience.  

One example of when we go above and beyond the call of duty:  For a Prom, Wedding or other Special Occasion/Event, wrist corsages traditionally have been made from a piece of elastic.  At The Gardens of Venus we incorporate lovely pearl bracelets into our corsages that replace the elastic band.  The small and special touches keep our customers coming back every time they have a need for flowers and special floral arrangements.  

Vases... Many people have mentioned that they don't like to buy fresh flowers because they perish so quickly and many feel their money is thrown out the window because of that.  What we do is give the customer (recipient) a gift along with their flowers...  The container that the flowers come in, so that the person has a keep-sake they will use time and again for different uses around the house.  See our page on Accessories & Vases to view an example of what we are talking about here. The gold urns, the green vases, the mosaic hurricane lamps, the white keepsake urn - vases. You will want to have some of these for yourself, I'm sure.  

We offer clear bud vases too, and what they call garden vases, vases that hold a multiple bunch of flowers, and those are your regular flower vases that other florists use.  But we want to be different, something that would set us apart.  We ordered ceramic containers that are urn shaped, Egyptian shaped, trophy vase shaped.  This look helps bring out the Roman/Greek/Egyptian feeling of elegance in our products.  It also gives our flower recipients a nice "forever keepsake" as mentioned before.
